Creating a WordPress page is very easy, just note that a page is static, you can add your own content, images, galleries, contact forms and more. A page is different from a post and most importantly it’s different from a category, when you create a category this is to categorize your posts. When you create a page, this is to display information and content for your website.
Creating A WordPress Page
1. To get started, login to your wordpress admin panel. On the left hand side you will see all of your different options that let you control your website.
2. Hover over or click on Pages, then select Add New, just like the screenshot below.
3. On the page that opens up you will see an area to add your page name and add your page content.
Add your page title in the area that it shows in the screenshot below, if you want to add an about page, the title would be “About”, if you want to add a contact page the title would be “Contact”, etc.
Once you add your title, then you add your content, so if you were creating an about page, your page content would be something about yourself and maybe some images etc.
Once you have your page set up hit “Publish”.
This tutorial is very basic, it’s just teaching you how to create your first WordPress page. You can create as many pages as you like and publish them.
